Moth

a raging spherical colossus of boiling combustion
each breath it takes fuels the life and sway of each astral god as they adorn our night sky
who are we to eat? drink? love?
when i crane my head up from my shamed posture
to steal a glance from her shimmering beauty
i feel cold
and condemningly insignificant

can it be?
with giants so radiant and numerous
that a star like you
would notice a moth like me?
